Jaco, the director of our Debt Recoveries Department, specialises in the collections of outstanding school and doctor accounts. He also has a general litigation practice and is skilled in the legal aspects surrounding school governance and management.Over the years, Jaco has been involved in numerous legal disputes involving various aspects of educational law and policy both in and outside the courtroom. He represents many schools in KwaZulu-Natal and believes in a practical, holistic and multi-disciplined approach to law that is aimed at solving problems proactively. Jaco also acts for a number of prominent companies with a national footprint and serves as trustee on a number of trusts, including school trusts.In his spare time, Jaco savours time with his family, the outdoors, gardening and restoration work.
